We understand that it is difficult to find the right kind of help or choosing the right therapist.
At Amicus Counselling and Clinical Psychological Service, we place a high value working with clients towards a positive change. Our aim and priority is to provide the best care, effective treatment and better outcome for our clients. Our therapists are highly trained, experienced and qualified Clinical Psychologists.
You will be assisted to identify, understand and cope with your difficulties and help reduce your distress. Our clinical psychologists will provide you with the tools to help you build skills to achieve your goals and improve your level of functioning and mental health. We will also help you identify and focus on your strength and values.
At Amicus Counselling and Clinical Psychologist Sydney we provide the latest evidence-based treatment such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We work collaboratively with our clients to develop a treatment plan that best suit their needs.
We are committed to providing a warm, empathic and supportive environment that is private and confidential. We are passionate about helping those who are experiencing difficulties.
We are clinical psychologists and we do not prescribe medication.
No doctor’s referral is required unless you wish to claim from Medicare. You will be able to access a much higher rebate through Medicare ($137 per session) with a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
Our psychologists are registered providers to Medicare, Work Cover NSW, and major health care funds.
